Cinnamon Bomb! I am actually quite impressed with this. Jim Beam's special releases are always worth a taste and this is no exception. On the dry side with loads of baking spices, honey, and sourdough bread. Finish is surprisingly long and all cinnamon. Just as if you had eaten a old-school cinnamon candy your grandma used to keep in her purse. At $25 a bottle this is well worth buying a couple given its limited release.

I didn't have terribly high expectations given the price and producer, but I was hoping for at least some good peat smoke. Very slight peat. Not nearly enough to justify the branding.

For my money it doesn't get much better than this. Sweet, but not cloying. Layered and complex. Just delicious. It's a shame this didn't make it into Glenmorangie's permanent lineup.

This is truly confounding juice. It's so...flavored that if I tasted it blind I would assume it was an artificially flavored whiskey. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just almost too good to be true. Nose is exactly like a fall spice Yankee Candle. EXACTLY. Like walking into Bath & Bodyworks in autumn. And it tastes almost exactly as it smells. This is pure wizardry, and I can't help but question if what's in the bottle has not been tampered with.

If you were to nose this blind, you could easily mistake it for a moscato. Beautiful golden yellow color is a perfect counterpart to the bright apple, peach and honey flavors. I love this more and more with each dram.

I must have a one-off odd bottling because the flavor profile of this bourbon is unlike any I've tasted before, and after reading others' tastings, I feel like I'm not drinking the same juice. The nose is wet wood and moss. The flavor is like scooping fire water out of the base of a dead tree in the forest. And none of that is a bad thing! Like squeezing the water out of damp mulch, then fermenting it. Amazing and weird. Anyone else get this flavor profile?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and admit that I don't just like this...I kind of love it. If you're patient with the nose, you'll find fresh-shucked corn, the scent of a grain feed bag and vanilla. Tastes of sweet caramel corn and grain dust. Finishes hot, but I like a little heat. Admittedly not complex, but it does what it does very well.

Truly a bourbon bomb. Like bourbon has been steeped in...bourbon. And Hot. It takes a couple of sips to acclimate my palate to the level of heat in this, but boy is this big on flavor! Mouthwatering.

A very unique rye at a decent price point. Cherry and spice on the nose, sweet and pleasantly astringent around the edge of the tongue. The finish is the real standout for me. Yeasty rolls, and then, at the very tail end, a surpise of watermelon Jolly Ranchers.

Dark, rich color. Nose is more subtle than expected. Dried fruits, apricots and raisins. Peat is calm and mellow. Delicious, briny, and deep, deep flavor. Heat is very subdued.
