Good enough - but in-interesting.

On the nose, I get a lot of apple / pear, which I often get on Irish Whiskeys. The first couple of sips were fine, but not hallelujah. The more I drank, the less I liked it. Seemed young and a little harsh. Flaviar “The Irishmen”

Thankfully I just picked up a 50ml bottle. Decent nose, but the palette doesn’t do it justice.

Easy dram to drink. The Sherry flavor hits you right away. Rather short finish.

Initially the nose came in like a punch with tons of peat and smoke with a slight hint of citrus. My first sip same thing, but followed by a little ash’y taste that I am not a favor of. After adding a little water, the citrus took over the nose. The taste, still very peaty and Smokey, and still ash’y. Not going to find a spot in my bar.

Conflicted - On one side I like sweet whisky’s, and I like peaty whisky’s. This one doesn’t quite know which one it is. This seems like a mix, and the mix isn’t really working for me. However - adding a little water changed it to a much better dram for me. In fact it upped the score by .5

I’m a fan. Peat hits you right away but fades rather quickly - but after the peat fades, it keeps hanging out on the background. Pretty long finish.

*I Wish it was older* The nose, albeit it little too plain Alcohol powered, seems promising: Sweet oak, berries. My first sip gave me that ‘young spirit’ that I’m not a fan of. But as I enjoyed it, flavors of chocolate covered cherries became the more prominent flavor, even though you have to wait for that to hit. I
