Needs medium amount of water. Nose: very alcohol forward, digging past the alcohol - very floral. Palate: Sweet, mild smoke Finish: medium wet finish, heat from the alcohol, honey and dried peach, jasmin Body: 1.5/4

very smoky - like you are in the smoked meat department at your local butcher. Bonfire in your mouth. Quick finish - smoke stays with you.

Very impressive offering. Best to drink neat - adding water brings the smoke out. Nose: honey, mixed berry, very floral - no citrus Palate: on the tonge - 2.5/4 body, oily, does not change from palate. Finish: very wet. Stays with you. alcohol progresses forward.

Honey, mild spice and cream notes with a few drops of water. This is a solid offering of the Balvenie line. Great for all year round. Nose to finish, very consistent experience. Sweet - very speyside.

Great summer whisky. Very refreshing and full of fruit. Would place in same category as the glenlivet 12 year. Non creamy. Summer whisky on a hot afternoon.
