Nose: caramel, toffee Palate: Cream, creme brule, vanilla Finish: soft, Jordan almonds This expression is the favorite of the Glenlivet employees and I can see why. Some say it is the poor mans 21 year archive but I beg to differ. This whisky is solid. Good body, really enjoyable. This bottle will disappear quickly.

Glenlivet 25 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 7, 2015 (edited December 25, 2022)If you are fortunate enough to be able to find this jem, ensure you surround yourself with your closest friends who appreciate whiskey. Nose: note of ooey gooey marichino cherry Christmas cake. Pallet: brilliant, smooth. Warm and welcoming. Very complex and full body. Finish: It comes quickly. And the warmth lasts. Over time, the whisky morphs into a complex bouquet of vanilla, crime brule and a hint of plum surprises the senses. To achieve this level of pleasure, must sit in the tulip whisky glass neat for minimum of 20 minutes. -
Glenlivet Nàdurra 16 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 5, 2015 (edited October 21, 2017)Nose: easy on nose, fruity and floral. Not a lot of pain on the nose This whiskey is great for walking your dog on a cold winter night. Fill a flask and enjoy. Taste: lemon, spicy, hits your entire mouth. Add water - moderate. Water opens up the whiskey. Like a lemon poppy seed cake. -
Glenlivet 21 Year Archive
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 5, 2015 (edited December 25, 2022)Fist fill burbon cask. 5 or 6 burbon casks used in this whiskey. Enjoy it while you can. Pallet - hint of spice, can be enjoyed neat. Small hint of butter while holding on the pallet. Warm finish, welcoming, can enjoy all night beside a fire. By far my favorite scotch whiskey of all time.
