    On the nose it's litteraly smoked caramelized apple with sea salt on a musty leather chair. On the palate it's pretty much the same but the apple is more apparent and there's some graham crackers ass well. Finish is short with some sugar and some apple. Decent whisky

    A bit sharp but a nice irish whiskey. Nice biscuit note's and the red fruit from the cognac comes through.

    On the nose it's baking spices, seaweed, wood notes like chocolate and of course peat but not overwhelmingly peaty (of course very peaty but in comparison to other laphroaig). On the palate it's more peaty and more salty (mainly the seaweed), the wood note have some strange synergism with the peat which makes this very enjoyable, one of my favorite laphroaig's!

    At first there was citrus and malty flavours but after adding a few drops of water it turned to caramel, chocolate and some smoke. Complex and spicy.

    On the nose it's very interesting there's lemon peat and cucumber?!?!?! On the palate there's vanilla, cinnamon and citrus. There is peat but it's not dominant, decent whisky but the finish is too hot for me. Tasting this after the bottle has been sitting for a while there are more baking spices. It has become more mellow and enjoyable.

    Very nice peaty, meaty and some citrus. Lagavulin makes magical whisky like the 16 more but this is still one of my favorites!
