Full bodied flavorful. Could be a little smoother but better enunciated flavors than most. An old favorite and a great standby. Price could be a lot better though, benchmark is nipping at your heels!

Peach vanilla and citrus and well as finely finished woody flavors and aroma define this Bourbon as well as an abiding hone note that stays for many moments after. Incredibly smooth and well made.

Wasn't a big fan of this, if you prefer Canadian or Irish whiskey. You'll be at home here, for the rest of us it just doesn't pack enough punch. Good for mixing I guess, but you can do better

Decent workhorse of a bourbon, but for my money I'd far prefer benchmark.

It's okay; a little anemic in terms of of flavor nose and color. What flavors are there are spaced appropriately, not really much to recommend.

If you've had beam white label you know what to expect, the nose is a little better but the palate is identical. Unless you are driven by the nose I'd save the money and go with the white label. Worth it on sale.

This bourbon's flavor is very very simple with only a few well done notes. Subtle woody leathery spicy and vanilla come through strong. The batch I got had some aspect of charcoal that I felt overwhelmed the flavors somewhat. That being said, the nose on this is the finest out of the offerings I have tried from four roses. For those of us that feel that simplicity is best, it is worth the money. The Japanese inspired bottle, mirrors the cultural influences that resulted in this bourbon's elements.

So so good. To be honest, I prefer this to both the small batch and the single barrel. Incredibly complex, yet pleasing nose and flavor. So much detail and yet the flavors are harmonious and spread correctly throughout the palate. Just such a fantastic sensation that reveals many secrets through nursing a shot throughout the night. I would say this would be a fantastic everyday bourbon. And one I would recommend to beginners and afficanados alike.

With mild peach citrus and spice and woody notes in both the nose and palate I would say this is almost a baby Blanton's. A little greener, I suppose that accounts for the price discrepancy.

The nose is simpler than standard four roses, full of powdery leather, sweet creamy honey. More of a charcoal notein the flavor profile, and the flavors are more condensed than the standard offering with less vanilla, and more spice. Both the nose and the flavor is full of rich woody aromas with caramel notes
