FIRST SIP/ Sweet, Molasses, Spice, then Warming Alcohol burn TASTE/ Sweet, Warm Spice to Hot Burn FINISH/ Warm to Hot all the way down. 55% Corn, 30% Rye, 15% Malted Barley 92 proof Being the past printer and design guy, to be honest with you, the label drew me into this is 5 yr aged whiskey is from Kentucky. I tried this neat and the notes speak to that, I added 6 cubes ice and this help things out greatly... more flavor, more complex, less burn. This is a good beverage for a mixer on a cool night by a fire! CHEERS!!!

High Rye Mash does not distract from the flavor! 80 proof Jim Beam owned This me friends is a remarkably Smooth beverage! (Worth it's weight in it's Viscosity) it is light and complex with remarkable ability to change without changing. I wood CAUTION you not to bastardize this with anything! (Ice, Water, Soda) You might want to add oxidation other than that... not, purchase a bottle N enjoy it with a lover or a Friend.

This is the No. 7 it had a lot of history behind it. To me it is standard perhaps sub par in contrast to others (whiskies) I've had. It's still a good drinker with ice or your FAV mixer... No. 7 is a prime way to start your day, either be it in the AM or PM. Add Ice to chill it or to smooth it! Cheers!!!

Pour it in a glass and sip it with friends! Sip it with friends and family that doubt the offerings that Jameson has to offer, this is the offering that changes your taste and will make you want more! I wood (typo intended) remind you these Stout barrels have many different characteristics and may (will) change and your taste buds might taste and react to this fine bottle differently than mine! DRINK WISELY & ENJOY Responsibly! This was a great find as I feel there's great inconsistency in the Jameson brand... others can be more consistent in flavors but this bottle is the pot of Gold @ the end of the Irish leprechaun's rainbow! AROMA/ Woody (fresh cut) Oak, Caramel, Sweet, Smooth, non harsh, Light Alcohol FIRST SIP/ Light, Smooth, Woody, Spice TASTE/ Woody, Sweetness, Spice, Oils FINISH/ Smooth, Soft, Woody, Spice, Oily on your tongue, Warming Alcohol 90 proof 68% corn, 28% rye, 4% malted barley (high rye bourbon) spiciness is from rye. This is a good Bourbon it has a great history behind it with mystery to boot! For the proof it is an easy consumable straight or with the addition of ice, ice adds more dimension to this beverage. I didn't get many flavors, smells that would make it complex, overall it is a fine frontier sipper! + I Love the cap on the bottle when you put it on it reminds you of an old medicine bottle! :)

FINISH/ Flat, Light, Wood, Lingering Spice, warming. 80 proof One of my Dad's favorites... this is fair for my taste buds, but this was my Dad's go to! Today would have been his 77th! BUT this has some might fine flavors and complexity to tease all your senses, you can tell this is well crafted with loving care! Tell a friend that I'm ENJOYING a SCOTCH WHISKEY, they might say, "well if he doesn't like Scotch and has favorable things to say about Glenfiddich... it must be good! I'll have a dram please!"
