Have this fine beverage for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner... this is a BLD! You can partake of this as a BLD but people may judge, take this as a respectable warning. AROMA/ Caramel, Sweet notes, Corn, Spice FIRST SIP/ Spiciness, Smoothness, Sweetness, Woody, Warming TASTE/ Spicy Smoothness, Hints of Caramel, Vanilla, Smokey Wood FINISH/ Smooth, Warming, Sweetness, slight Spice 90 proof This whiskey is extracted from the barrel walls after the aged Whiskey is removed... it is then blended with their 6 yo aged whiskey and re-aged. This gives a different Fuller dimension to Dad's (JMM) Jim Beam, smoother, less spice and less overall harshness. Sorry Dad this is better than your standard Beam! AROMA/ Banana, Sweetness, Corn, Woody FIRST SIP/ Smooth, Sweetness, Fruits, Oils, Slight Warmth, Banana TASTE/ Smoothness, Some Spice, Oils, Corn FINISH/ As Smooth as a homemade Banana Cream Pie baked in a wood fired stove. 80 proof The double filtering Mr. Daniel does on this is through sugar maple charcoal and it really does some fine work to this whiskey, creating some over the top smoothness, along with Sweetness and fruits. I found the banana flavors to be a wonderful surprise... the smoothness reminds me of a banana cream pie or the sweetness of a fine rice pudding! Please try this libation responsibly as it is D-Lishous! Ice or neat your choice... ice does and more dimension and complexity to this wonderful beverage. CHEERS!!

AROMA/ Malt, Lemon, Wood, Honey, Spice FIRST SIP/ Smooth, Oil, Ever so Slight Honey, Earthy, Woody, Spice, Tart, Bitter, Oily, Fading Caramel TASTE/ Spiciness, Earthy, Bitter, Oils, Fading Sweetness FINISH/ Oily Smoothness, Sweets, Bitter, Spice 80 proof J&B Rare was Estd in 1749 per the bottle. This is the first Scotch I've tested/reviewed and is as I recall Scotchs to be... bitter, earthy, and of flavored to me taste. If there taste was like the smell... I am sorry that I am not able to get me arms around this Scotch... but I'll keep trying when there is an opportunity. This was better with a ton of ice... CH33RS!!

AROMA/ Sweet, Carmel, Vanilla, Honey, Nugget FIRST SIP/ Sweet Honey, Smooth with a bite, Smokey Wood, Sice, Oak, Burn TASTE/ Smooth up front, Carmely Sweetness, Corn FINISH/ Alcohol Burn, Sweetness, Spice, Oils, Honey 83 proof This isn't my Father's Jim Beam, it is another, sweeter, and has more woodyness, you can taste the Oak, the Corn, and the smoke, it does have a bite and spice I do believe my Dad liked this... but it had the qualities of a will aged Bourbon without the AS age statement. This is D-Lish with 6 small cubes of ice to a 3 oz pour! The ice does make a change to the profile of this Bourbon adding more flavors and some Fruits and Florals! Drink with a friend or family! AROMA/ Vanilla, Fruits, Smoke, Woody FIRST SIP/ Smoothness, Spice, Woody, Fruits TASTE/ Spice, Woody, Slight Oily, Fruits, Warm Alcohol FINISH/ Spice, Alcohol, Wood, Smoothness 18% rye there is No Age Statement. 90 proof This is a good warmer upper with lovely notes of Fruits, Vanilla, Smokey Wood, perhaps Slight Caramel at the end... finishing with the nice Smoothness of an aged Bourbon. Mr. Woodford says this is a blend of aged Bourbon... add some ice and this gains you more deliciousness thanks to Mr. Woodford's fine craftsmanship! CHEERS!!

(waste not, want not) This is a super smooth & tasty beverage, you can drink neat or on ice! In contrast this is a great price for a single malt Irish whiskey!
