It is hot for a 100proof. Somewhat simple but pleasant glad I tried it. However it went to the infinity bottle.

CHICOLATE! it smells and tastes of rich chocolate and vanilla, toasted almonds. And has the tropical Balcones finish you’ll know it when you’ve had a few of theirs. Not overly complex but a nice change of pace.

Apparently don’t like port finished whisk(e)y

For price this is exceptional. I could live in the nose of this. First sip you know it’s Balcones. Cherry, vanilla, caramel, toffee, Werthers Originals, corn, bitter chocolate, somewhat quick finish. Overall excellent experience. This will be my quintessential bourbon for newbies to try.

Typical vanilla caramel green apple sucker, slight bandaid, peanut buttery. Not bad for price but won’t purchase again.
