It’s like Weller 12 turned up to 11. Heat up front because of the proof but that Weller taste we know and love showing up in full form with a long and lingering finish.

Vanilla & cherry pie. Has become one of my favorites. A great after dinner pour.

Can’t beat this bourbon for the price. Notes of marshmellow and pineapple on the nose. Taste of caramel, baking spice, and vanilla. A good one to keep on hand for sipping or mixing.

Nose of honey, vanilla, and pear. The honey definitely comes through on the taste with a little heat from the proof. Lingering orange peel and the honey continues on through as well.

Sweet and welcoming on the nose with hints of vanilla & maple. The pallet had a very quick heat from the proof so that lends itself to some warming spice characteristics. I get cherry, oak, and tobacco on the taste with a very long finish. To me it’s not very oily or heavy but does have a lingering burn and spicy finish. Not bad but couldn’t drink it often.

Nose has some leather and vanilla. I get cinnamon, cherry, and caramel on the taste. A little tingle in the aftertaste from the proof but not a linger taste other than cinnamon-roll. 4.0 for the price. $25 a bottle.

It smells like cardboard and alcohol and taste of paper, raw oats, and grass. The grassy note is what you’re left with on your palate for a bit. The best part about this whiskey is that a friend purchased it and not me. Glad I had a chance to taste it before I spent my money on it. I would not buy this.
