    Tried neat in Nashville for BAE’s marathon. On the nares I get tobacco, oak, vanilla, and chocolate covered cherries. On the palate it’s hot with notes of wood and tobacco like a harsh cigar

    Received from my flaviar sample box of mezcals. Having somewhat a difficult time figuring out if this one is correct so this is labeled: Mezcal vago espadin de emigdio. It is 50.1%. Tried neat. On the nares it’s smoky,earthy, and spicy with notes of pepper. On the palate I get spice, pepper, earthy, & coriander. Somewhat hot finish in the back of my throat.

    Tried neat from my flaviar taster box. On the nares it is very peaty and earthy with notes of dried parsley, unripened fruit, dirt, and something in between crayon shavings, homemade putty, and wood shavings. On the palate it’s a bit harsh with notes of spice & peaty with a hot and dry finish. I’m missing the smoke and smoothness here. Probably won’t be a sipper for me..

    Tried neat from my flaviar tasting box. On the nares I get peppers and smoke. On the palate it’s smooth and light with notes of fruit and lime and finish ok smoke and chili. Delicious

    Tried neat. It is smooth and earthy on the nares with notes of black pepper, caramel, oat, mint, fresh cut grass. First touch to the palate it’s smooth with a bold amount of mint, spearmint to be more specific, with notes of honey and cola. Leaves beautiful legs on the glass. Not particularly typical of a rye for me which makes me love it even more.

    Tried neat. 2019 release. On the nares I get notes of candied fruits, oak, &vanilla. On the palate it’s kinda bland with a finish of red hots With a hot Kentucky hug finish

    Tried neat. On the nares I get black tea, caramel, cinnamon, candied pecans. On the palate it’s woody and I get the toast. Very smooth finish with notes of vanilla

    Bottle came with my flaviar subscription. Tried neat. On the nares I get the usual like and salt, must be the old college days. However, I surprisingly get notes of vanilla on the palate. Very smooth. I could sip this neat no problem

    When In Utah, you just get something you have never had bc…Slim pickings friends! Purchased from a state store down the road from Zion National Park while camping. This was the only liquor store within a 1 hr distance, from our understanding. Google maps didn’t even pull this up, heard from a local lol. Tried neat. On the nares I get fruit, wood, slight vanilla. On the palate it’s smooth, sweet with notes of cream brûlée and nuts. I am not at all mad at it. #maythelordopen #blessedbethefruit

    Tried neat in with Dan while he was in town. On the nares I get chocolate covered cherries and more cherries with sweet fruit. On the palate It is sweet with notes of cherries, green apples, and sugarrrr.
