Clyde May's Alabama Style Whiskey (85 Proof)
Flavored Whiskey — USA
Reviewed November 29, 2019 (edited March 23, 2020)They say apples a lot and there’s a slight bit on the nose but have to search a little, oaky some burnt sugar as well. Apples again right up front on the taste but quickly the bourbon like spice washes that away then waves of cream and caramel mix around. Was pleasantly surprised by this. Warm is a great way to describe this. Great for winter sipping or a flask. -
Mmmm reminds me of Christmas. Warm and inviting, a smell of vanilla, cream, then of course a touch of oak and alcohol. The taste is smooth I want to say cherries but I am inexperienced, yet greeted up front with something delicious and sweet. For sure slight tastes of coffee and vanilla, hits of caramel, and that sweet sweet bourbon flavor you come to love. Little burn, little sweet. Easily in my top 5

The Irishman Founder's Reserve
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed November 14, 2019 (edited February 11, 2020)Lacks that straight up smoothness you’d expect with an Irish whiskey but still has a pleasant sweet fruity smoothness on the back. A nice oaky maybe flowery spice up front? Semi complex but almost missing something -
Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 6, 2019 (edited November 11, 2019)Honestly a very middling bourbon. Sweet, light, flowery. Tastes almost watered down not too much flavor. No oak or spice or bourbon burn so great for beginners. But overall slightly below average
