I wouldn’t have imagined Bacardi made a rum that was anything but a passable cheap mixer, but this is totally sippable on its own and delightful in cocktails.

Beautiful. This one is nice in cocktails but also stands alone nicely as a sipping rum. Notes of vanilla and caramel. I foresee this being in regular rotation at our home tiki bar!

Not as funky as the black version, but still some solid Jamaican funk. Like other Hamiltons I’ve tried, this is made for mixing.

This is the rum that finally taught me what Jamaican “funk” is! Overripe banana scent and flavor. Not something I’d sip, but great for mixing in cocktails calling for dark Jamaican rum.

An excellent 151 that actually has flavor! Notes of burnt sugar and molasses that adds flavor and kick to mixed drinks. This works really well in a 151 Swizzle.

Definitely sweet, not overly spiced. Nice for sipping for something different. A bit hit or miss in mixed drinks.
