This is everything it’s cracked up to be. It’s definitely an elevated version of special reserve with much more oak and caramel present. If it wasn’t so hard to find this would be my everyday sipper. Truly a great bourbon.

I have yet to have a bad product from wild turkey. They are consistently a solid bourbon no matter which product you have. This is a very smooth high proof bourbon. Will always keep this one in my collection.

The tasting notes are spot on. This bourbon is very sweet and fruity(apples/pears). Ryes typically turn people off due to the spice but that spice isn’t there. It’s very smooth. If you find it grab a bottle or two. I’m keeping my bar stocked with this.

Given an 18 price point it’s really a good value. I wish it had a little bit higher alcohol proof as it would really be a great bourbon. The nose is banana and the palate is more oak. It’s very thin and exits rather quickly but for $18 it’s pretty good.
