I hope I can find another bottle of it. It’s a warming, comfortable, sit-by-the-fire whisky.

It’s unique. Does have some smoke/peat that hits immediately. Then some sour. Kinda like a green apple. Woodsy. Overall unique combo of flavors. Love the bottle design. Will say that of all of the GOT bottles, Talisker, Lagavulin, and Royal Lochnagar are the best.

For a GOT Edition, definitely not a sellout. Wonderful.

Cooling taste? Good flavor. Sweet but not in a fruity way.

Verdict- awesome. Johnnie Walker White Walker was a mass production sell out. They made it boring and sweet for appeal. Lagavulin did a fantastic job with the 9yr. Still peated and smokey, possibly lightly sweet finish?. It’s great. I’m happy they didn’t sell out like JW and dumb it down for cocktail drinking fans.

Sweet. Flavor dumbed down to make it appealing to a mass audience. I’m assuming they were targeting all of the GOT fans that have limited their drinking to sweet cocktails. The gimmick of storing the whisky in the freezer probably was to help those people take it down easier, as drinking a whisky neat is normally too harsh on their palettes. Unfortunately for the rest of us, the flavor will be odd. Sadly, the most enjoyable aspect of this whisky is the bottle.
