Tastes

To me this is underrated. For the price you can't do better. Price should factor into a review. I've had plenty costing twice as much that isn't as good.

If the 15 dollar price rang bourbons I have I like this one the least. I'd recommend saving up an extra 5 dollars and buying something slightly better.

To me this is what all of the ryes should be compared to. For $50 it’s a bargain.

Blah, it doesn’t taste bad because it has almost no taste at all. The nose is pretty much bandaid adhesive. I generally love Bouleit bourbon in all three forms inc the regular, 10 year, and cask strength but the rye leaves me wanting for flavor. I’ll stick to Pikesville, which is worth the extra $20. I’m glad I bought the smaller bottle.
