Westward American Single Malt Cask Strength
American Single Malt — Oregon , USA
Reviewed November 9, 2023Smells and tastes like a chocolate brownie with some aged rum in the batter. There's some really ripe banana notes and prune juice flavors also. The proof is alive and well through the whole experience. I like it but a bottle will last me awhile.100.0 USD per Bottle -
A good bourbon no doubt. Red popsicle and berry hit you first, then a little bubble gum. Some leather and oak on the palate. It's balanced very well. The finish is quite short but refreshing as if you spit out a good piece of gum. Worth keeping a bottle on the shelf for a different experience.55.0 USD per Bottle

Bear Fight American Single Malt
American Single Malt — USA
Reviewed August 20, 2023 (edited September 30, 2023)Other than it's youthfulness there's not much to dislike here. Has fruit, wood and some peanut shell. It has enough complexity to make you come back.40.0 USD per Bottle -
Jura 10 has some unique flavors of burnt orange peel and burnt caramel. Fairly common scotch on the nose with some floral highlights if you put your nose in deep. There is a slight wood funk that I've found in some rums, particular Appelton 12 year and ironically they use the same style of bottle. It is well balanced for what it is.40.0 USD per Bottle
