    I didn't think this scotch was particularly special. Then I had it over a large ice ball. The flavors popped. The nose doesn't particularly match the palate, but still enhances the overall experience. Floral and citrus nose and carame, leather, pepper and butter palate.

    First thing is decant this. I moved it between two bottles a few times and shook it also. It really needs to get some air in it to bring it to life. At first crack it wasn't remarkable, like 1792. After decanting more like Woodford Double Oak.

    It lives up to it's name. It has a metallic white fruit and honey nose with a matching pallete. Thin legs with minimal finish. Pretty simple, won't repurchase. On a side note it has one of the loudest squeaky corks I've found. You can't pour this one with privacy.

    It's grassy, spicy with a touch of funky honey. This dram is not trying to be your friend, but its still respectable. It's also 43% abv stateside.

    The best budget scotch I've ever had. Has honey, low key smoke, and brine. Prefer Famous Grouse for a blended, but for $10 less I won't complain.

    I like it! Very sweet like a cola syrup. Albeit artificial like a stevia sweetness. Some wicker wood and spice also. Thin legs. A good Texas whiskey with all the typical trademarks in spades.

    Picked up a bottle for $10. A great buy at that price. Very easy, simple sipper. Light butterscotch, toffee on the nose. Almost drinks like water. Slight smoke on a medium finish.I prefer Teachers, but I wouldn't say no to a free pour.
