Woody on the palate but it finishes so sweet. No heat. Nice mouthfeel. Love it.

A very unique note here: baked bread + skunky beer. Love it, vanilla caramel on the palate and a very enjoyable finish. Drinks well below the proof. I wouldn't search out Blanton's regular after having this.

Amazing bourbon. Thick, oily, chewy mouthfeel. Sweet brown sugar and Graham cracker. Citrus and just the right amount of spice. Incredibly balanced. Lovely heat to it. Proud of this WI product

Nothing special to me. I get a hint of vanilla but mostly just heat and oak spice. There's some slight apple cinnamon on the finish.

This is my first real foray into the world of scotch, and I have to say, I'm impressed! Being a bourbon guy, I went for a Speyside, easy "starter scotch" with bourbon influence, and this is absolutely stellar. You get the bourbon right away on the nose and it carries over to the palate. Creamy and sweet with a distinct chocolate Tootsie Roll note that keeps me coming back. I don't see myself venturing too much further into scotch, but this may be a new staple around the house! Oh and a $5 rebate, heck yeah...

Had this awhile back (bought on sale for under $20). Kind of a fruity bourbon with some distinct floral notes. Nothing incredibly special for me, but definitely a solid pour. I wouldn't seek this out specifically, but if I find it for a good value I'll definitely bite again!

While not exactly my style, this is a very unique whisky that I wholeheartedly different than anything I've tried before. It tastes like Milwaukee smells: an off yet desirable brewer's yeasty funk. It's almost reminiscent of a stale beer. The maltiness shines through the palate but the finish is sweet and surprisingly refined for a young whisky. There is a distinct pistachio nuttiness here that is off-putting at first, but grows on me quickly. I keep coming back to this very interesting spirit to keep my palate sharp and find a break in the monotonous offerings by so many other distillers.

This is a WINNER. There's nothing wrong here, and a whole lot right. For 116.8 proof, this is easy drinking and shows its complexity well. Sharp spice quickly mellows out to a long-lasting sweet vanilla finish. The perfect amount of charred oak beautifully balanced the robust bourbon classics: brown sugar, caramel, baking spices. A go-to daily sipper. Lots of nuances make for am exciting pour every time.

Great classic bourbon here and an absolute gem at around $20 or less ($13 on sale). Big bold classic notes: vanilla, caramel, brown sugar. Sweet and oily with a medium finish. Don't be afraid of the big brand name: they know what they're doing here! Non-chilled filtered for the win! I'll buy another bottle for sure!
