I really enjoyed this, I know alot of reviews say the new version does not match up to the old expression. It’s briny but sweet and caramel honey botes do come through. I had this. I had the Aerstone 10 Sea Cask which I found to briny, salty. Its got a good balance of sweet and briny for me and depth to keep me interested.

Bang for your buck if you are looking for a quality budget peated everyday dram. I have been fortunate to taste this side by side to the “Sea Cask” and I know it might confuse people “Land Cask” but think of this as an affordable Ledaig 10 deep earthy peat as opposed to and Islay.35.0 USD per BottleAuckland Airport

Solid for the price point! Aged 10years, single malt, crafted by Brian Kinsman himself, you cant go wrong if you looking for somthing good on a budget. I was fortunate to buy this along side the land cask and recommend to do so the same if you can. At first salty and briny but after letting this sit for about 10 min the sweet honey and vanilla notes stand out. Easy daily sipper. Get this over a budget blend.38.0 USD per BottleAuckland Airport

Was really impressed with this one, it’s on my “special occasion/moments shelf” if you were to infuse a Peat Bomb and a Sherry Bomb….this is what you get! No too Smokey but dark deep creamy Peated fruit. I would highly recommend this especially considering the ABV that offers a thick creamy long finish, but would also caution that this is not an Islay whisky so if you looking for those Islay flavours you won’t find it here.100.0 USD per BottleAuckland Airport

I read and watched a lot of reviews on this one. I am a big fan of the 10. My take is, given the cost of living crises across the world and the foreseeable global recession - this is a solid dram especially if the 10year old is out of you budget. Smokey, Peated sweetness, medicinal and, with a hint of iodine and salty went well paired with smoked cheddar on cream cracker. This would be a easy go to on my shelf.
