Bunnahabhain 18 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed January 17, 2019 (edited August 12, 2020)Wonderful nose of deep red fruit, honey and a hint of smoke. Palate does not disappoint- complex and evolving fruits, brine and mild peat. Long finish. No sulfur. The higher ABV of 46.3% punches up the flavor and complexity over its peers, such as Highland Park 18 (43%). -

Macallan Edition No. 2
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed August 2, 2018 (edited August 16, 2018)The dark fruits give way fairly quickly to cinnamon and pepper spice, which dominated the taste for me. A bit astringent on the finish w some bitterness. It’s ok but I probably won’t buy another bottle. If you like cinnamon, pepper and ginger this will likely appeal to you. I’ll save for future editions instead...100.0 USD per Bottle
