Dalmore King Alexander III
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed March 29, 2018 (edited April 7, 2018)Red fruits, caramel, toffee, nice sherry sweetness and delayed warm finish. -
An amazing balance among peaty, smoke, and sweetness. Overpowering hospital antiseptic at first, after a while until it wakes up, sea wind, vanilla, herbs, oak, and iodine the most obvious one. The taste is quite stunning, smooth floral honey interweaving with spicy smokes. Long and lingering finish. The last touch of mint is very lovely.
