Angostura Aromatic Bitters
Non-Potable Bitters — Trinidad
Reviewed December 13, 2020 (edited July 9, 2021)It should be officially announced as an every household staple. From an Earl Grey tea to all your cocktails, great for anything. -
Beefeater London Dry Gin (40%)
London Dry Gin — England
Reviewed December 13, 2020 (edited April 3, 2023)Light, but not thin, yet still nicely juniper forward. May not be super impressive, but it's still a great staple, both for sipping and mixing. -
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed December 13, 2020 (edited July 9, 2021)No better way to appreciate what a single barrel is. Richer and deeper than the original, less of a signature banana, but more wood and focus. -
Ballantine's 7 Year Bourbon Finish
Blended — Scotland
Reviewed November 3, 2020 (edited August 14, 2021)Great to see Ballantine's expanding its line, but very long, sweet and mouthcoating finish does not make this one particularly pleasant. -
Glenlivet Founder's Reserve
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed August 2, 2020 (edited September 21, 2020)An "airplane" whisky, as one might say, due to its noninvasive approachability. Fruitiness neatly combined with the mystery of maltiness. -
Stolichnaya Salted Karamel
Flavored Vodka — Latvia
Reviewed August 2, 2020 (edited September 21, 2020)Obviously insanely delicious, to the point of being sightly suspicious. Caramel is great, but its sweetness exposes the dangerous booziness.
