bright, flavorful. higher proof makes this interesting. typical bourbon flavors, fruity.

nose is faint and sweet. taste is friendly and fruity, red apples finish is long and sweet. overall pretty underwhelming, nothing here to hate, but nothing to make it stand out. I guess it's cool to get an 18 year old whiskey for cheap, but I'll take any if the other 40 dollar 12 year old whiskeys over the Shieldaig.

nose: sweetened butter palate: spicy and nutty finish: the best part, chocolate and peanut butter a bit of heat in this dram, not too bad though

simple, nice, round. cereal, honey, bit of apple. didn't wow me, but wasn't sad I got to drink it.

mmm this is good. apple, malty, a little green (maybe vegetable) note keeps it from being too sweet.

i thoroughly enjoyed this dram. light fruit, bit of smoke, not too sweet, not too bitter. tastes great. the finish was perfect, not too long, not too short.

nose: buttery kettle corn taste: hot, spicy, barrel, kinda harsh finish: spicy and leather strange ride, sweet nose totally different from everything else. Added some water, tamed the heat a bit, but not finding a lot of flavors.

Maple sweetness, grapey, kinda boring.

a little smokey, when you get used to smoke it reveals candied lemons. great dram worth your money
