Well balanced. Peaty, rubbery on the nose. Taste is smokey, goes sweet, finishes with seaweed. its very good. Do I like it more that Ardbeg Uigeadail or Port Charlotte? I don't think so.

great whiskey that is not very sweet with a little smoke and brine. Malty, lemony, with a touch of salt. Update: had some of this after auchentoshan, it's a lot more butter scotch with some spice to finish.. so gooooood

no where near the quality of the 12. maybe it was the bar that served it to me. nose and taste were like HP12 but you are too distracted by a sourness, possibly from a really young, whiskey blended in.. stick with the 12 as your cheap, go-to highland park
