Tastes

The nose is amazing. But the taste doesn’t live up. The cinnamon is prevalent, strong, and lasts through the finish. Spiciest bourbon I’ve ever had and understand why it’s hard to find.

Still really new to Islay’s and scotch in general but I enjoyed this. Aroma of honey chamomile tea, dried cherry, and floral on the end. Tastes of salted caramel, nuts, honey (which I’m biased), and just a slight smokiness.

Earthy aroma mixed with spice. Wow, this is unlike anything I’ve ever had. Molasses, vanilla, and tons and tons of cream. Almost liqueur-esk. If you took a vanilla malt, and made it liquor, this is what you’d get. Fantastic.

An all time favorite bottle. While the aroma leaves much to be desired notes of sherry, honey, tobacco, sweet vermouth present a mild, and relaxing drink.

Oak, and cherry on the nose. Huge amount of oak and tobacco initially. There’s another flavor there that I can’t distinguish, but I’m not overly fond of. Finished with a lot of spice, and earth tones. Honestly, its good, but does not quite live up to the hype.

Uber sweet on the nose of caramel citrus, cherry. The initial flavors lack the expectation from the nose though. Sweet vanilla, and honey in the middle, but thins quickly. Does not live up the type of the talk. A little disappointing to say the least.

Very metallic in the aroma. There is nothing overly special with this, but it’s a relaxing pour.

A wonderful plum, and grapefruit aroma off the nose. Honey, bitters, and cherry. Finish of oak, vanilla and smoke. A really relaxing pour that is well-rounded from start to finish. I will make sure to always have this in my collection.

What a beautiful aroma. Relaxing cherry. Fantastic notes of flower and fruit from start to finish. A really great, and affordable drink.

Pours a wonderful dark, deep amber color. Sweet maple and orange aroma. Notes of cherries, syrup, peppercorn, and wheat finish. Pretty sweet pour, and could use a little more in the finish but it’s enjoyable. Wouldn’t necessarily rush out to have a back-up of this bottle in my collection.
