Can taste that red wine cask roght off the top. Has a sweet burn in the back of the throat thats nice. Bit thick on the tongue, bit that might be the red wine flavor. Didnt realize it was a Travel Center exclusive. Those bottles tend to lend a negative headspace, but i def enjoyed this bottle

A real tasty $40 bottle! Very smooth. Not as mich peat as inlike, but still has a full flavor that sits in your mouth without any burn. Buy again for sure

To date my favorite Rye. The comes in with a bit smoother of the traditional CR taste and then leaves a nice cinnamon / oak barrel flavor. But a mouth burn at the end but the nice kind

A sweeter taste (not a bad thing) but lacking in the peat I enjoy. It goes for more of a smoky taste. Nice to drink but I think a bit too sweet

Came in with a real floral wash to the mouth that was almost just a clear whiskey flavor. I tried to place the taste but all I could muster was breezy floral, but not anything distinct. No burn yet still strong. Next taste was able to get more feel for the depth, yet not that deep. Nice drink, but not enough character for me

Heavier taste than Oban 14, with a bit more of a dried fruit taste than sweet honey. Very tasty

Goes into the tongue so smooth and light and then just sits down with a blanket of mild peat covered with tingling honey. Scary to think what the next level up is going to taste like

Hits the tongue fast with an enveloping coat of rich smoke and subtle peat. Lingers nicely with intensity that tetters between too strong and just right. Ends with a clear but undefined dried dark fruit note

Incredibly smooth, but a definitely more depth than the 12. Very tasty, but still feels like it’s just scratching the surface. Has a nice linger on the tongue. A nice simple taste.

Quick peaty taste with a thick coat of the tongue. Follows up with a subtle bit of pepper and strength. Tiny bit of licorice taste but nice. Leave a long taste on the tongue but still feels like it’s pushing a heavy flavor instead of true depth
