Delicious with a little spice. It’s similar to rip 12 in smoothness but dang the finish is really short for a 27 year. Surprisingly very little oak in the palatte. Glad i tried vut not worth the $300 msrp

The pro taste notes are pretty accurate. Right balance of sweet and spice at the end. Very smooth. This does not have the bitter aftertaste i got from the older 11 year version.

First few times i had this was at a buddy’s house and i was unimpressed. It felt very bland and uninteresting. Then i got another bottle of my own since these are single barrel and maybe i tasted a bad one. The new bottle i got was delicious. Smooth and sweet and easy every day drinker. Very slight spice. Caveat: my palate leans toward more barrel proof stuff.

Nice light nose that started off with more alcohol that dissipates from sitting there. Sweet smell and sweet taste. Very thin but nice everyday drinker. Not complex or super spicy but would definitely buy a bottle at msrp. Not sure if i would pay more than that.
