I get sweet oak and warmed dark fruits on the nose. Full bodied, soft and sweet gives way to a spicy, semi hot finish.

Toast with a vanilla reducrion drizzle on the nose. Spice on the pallet with a balanced burn. There is a nice, floral finish that i cannot place.

Mezcal-like nose (sweet peet?) on the nose with prominent cherry. Peat smoke on the pallet with a nice peat finish. I avoided Highland because of the smokey profile, but i am heading to the store because i love it!

Leather-wrapped wood with a hint od smoke on the nose. Complex, yet smooth with an equally smooth finish. This is one to bit buy by the case.

I get honey, slight charred wood, pepper and dash of baking spices on the nose. Full bodied, smooth with a mint-laced pepper finish.

I get agave on the nose, mezcal with a hint of peat. Three others at the table agree. Asked them to smell it and they guessed respado to mezcal. It is light in the mouth with spice and a pinch of peat. I think it is a bit underrated as i found it very enjoyable. .
