Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 6, 2018 (edited June 10, 2019)A tad sweet with a high percentage of corn in the mash bill. Good for making homemade bourbon cream. I am not a big fan of it standing alone. However, bourbon is a "personal choice" so there will be no condemnation of this or any other bourbon I post my opinion (I hope). I do see one drinking it due to its relatively low price point vs. complexity. -
Not a bad bourbon for the price (it has since gone up over $29.99/750ml). Had it with one rock and I got a strong licorice note, The other person I had it with also experienced that note. Nevertheless, it is a nice sipping bourbon that would do justice in the "middle of the road" part of anyone's collection.

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2015-01 "Big Man, Small Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 5, 2018 (edited June 3, 2018)Really Enjoyed this one as my first Booker's and have been a fan ever since. Very rich, however, the High Proof does not ruin anything. It only adds to its complexity. Very smooth! This bourbon goes into my "Zombie Apocalypse" Closet next to the ammo. :-) -
My Brit friend brought this over for me to try as I was not a real scotch fan. Well, after trying this number I am now a fan of scotch. This was NOT over the top in tasting like peat moss or in my words, "tasting like a mouth full of smoldering mulch." The sherry notes really brought it together. It could not have been better re-introduction to scotch for me. I will be getting a bottle of it upon his return from the UK. I am looking forward to it. With that, this scotch goes into my "Zombie Apocalypse" Closet next to the ammo. :-)"

Wigle Organic Pennsylvania Bourbon
Bourbon — Pennsylvania, USA
Reviewed April 4, 2018 (edited January 13, 2019)It was great to see a distillery within the City of Pittsburgh. I have Batch 1 from both the small cask and barrel strength series. The use of local grains gives this bourbon a unique taste that is not harsh for its 90+ and 100+ Proof releases. I like it better with a rock than a splash or neat. However, anyway will not do you wrong. At first, I thought it was a tad pricey. However, after seeing other bourbons out there with higher price points and in my opinion, less quality I have reconsidered my view. I share this with my friends who hail from Western Pennsylvania as I do with the Monongahela Rye.
