Gran Centenario Plata Tequila
Distiller Score 95
For a young tequila this has the weight and depth of something more mature. It's very fruity, with flavors of yellow peach, mangos, grapefruit peel and yellow bell peppers tinged with vanilla. It also has a pleasant spicy kick of black pepper, nutmeg and a faint whiff of smoke. This is a truly elegant sipping tequila.

4 Copas Tequila Blanco
Distiller Score 98
A massively aromatic tequila: sun-baked earth, dried herbs, grilled nectarines, olive brine, crisp citrus. On the palate the touch is delicate but full-bodied, with notes of almond flower, white pepper and cinnamon joining in. Tangy, lip-smacking and generous - a nearly perfect expression of agave.

El Jimador Añejo Tequila
Distiller Score 93
This nose offers classic notes of cooked agave, cinnamon and spice notes to complement rich oak and brown sugar aromas. On the palate, this spirit is rich and lively, with a tongue-coating silkiness usually only found in much more expensive añejo tequilas. Flavors of caramel, vanilla and cherries appear first on the palate, followed by cooked agave, oak, cinnamon and baking spices before a pleasant finish that offers more oak, cherry and just a hint of smoke before disappearing from the tongue. This is a great introduction to añejo tequilas and would make an excellent substitution for whiskey in variations of Manhattans and Old Fashioned cocktails.

Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila
Distiller Score 93
The aroma is intensely full of sweet agave and earthy notes, maybe even smoky. The palate is rich, but not oily and the rustic, earthy tones continue on the palate. There's a bit of pepper and some sweetness, but not overtly so. A blanco tequila with substance.

The contact with the charred oak manifests in a spicy, peppery style of reposado with a delightfully smoky kick. Chili peppers and cinnamon spice fan out a bit on the palate to reveal vegetal and tropical fruity notes. Very pleasant to sip.

Avión Silver Tequila
Distiller Score 87
Perhaps a bit more complex than earlier bottling, this tequila shows an expressive nose of baked pepper, cream soda, lemon peel, crushed mint, and a touch of milk chocolate. The palate continues with a gentle herbaceous tones complimented by a touch of habanero spice and salt crystal flavors that are well balanced if not overwhelming pronounced. The finish still strikes clean and brisk making this a versatile blanco with enough body and finesse to enjoy on its own. (Note: Review from Batch 883A, Bottle 2783)

Corazón Blanco Tequila

Very fruity aroma of ripe pears and sweet apples are found. Light in body with a creamy mouthfeel, there are distinct notes of white pepper. Good for sipping but perfect for a Paloma, or try dropping a shot over ice with your favorite radler of shandy.

El Tesoro Blanco Tequila
Distiller Score 92
The aroma is as if you buried your nose in a green smoothie filled with fresh-cut cabbage, romaine lettuce, kiwi, pear, aloe vera while preparing a beurre noisette (brown butter). These aromas follow on the palate where you’ll also find ripe heirloom carrots, Kaffir limes and roasted pear. This is a classic, flavorful tequila--one that is far from the vodka-like tequilas that are on the market.

Mijenta Tequila Blanco
Distiller Score 86
The nose gets started with grapefruit peel and pith, plenty of vegetal and grassy notes, lemon juice, and cotton candy. The palate offers grilled pineapples, vanilla, and waxy honey, moving into a finish with toffee, black pepper, a bowl of freshly made oleo saccharum with citrus peels and sugar, and moderate minerality. Bright citrus through and through.

Corralejo Añejo Tequila

This is a much quieter expression when compared to the reposado. The spices and minerality have mellowed considerably, but are still present. Orange spice and red pepper filter in with milk chocolate and vanilla. It finishes smoothly and elegantly.

Código 1530 Blanco Tequila
Distiller Score 92
A robust blanco that exercises a charming patience in the expression of its flavors. Sparked by the baker's yeast, the nose is layered with wafts of cactus flower, lemon peel, lavender, and earl grey tea. A lush and centered palate opens with fresh green pepper and guava, then tempered by peppery flashes along the edges and in the finish. Great sipping tequila with lots of character.
