1835 Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey

Very light and indistinguishable from other less expensive Texas bourbons. Better than the regular 1835 but compared to Balcones, TX, Rebecca Creek, Etc its not memorable

Blind sample from @thechad Nose: sweet honey, mango, detectable alcohol, faint raspberries. Palate: pear juice, apple juice, raw oak Finish: short and sweet combo of mixed nuts and sliced pears. Score 74/100

On the nares: Vanilla, oak, cinnamon. On the palate: the above with nuts and orange and smooth but hot finish, great mixture of warmth and smoothness overall

Vanilla, greenery, cinnamon, pear, toast and oak nose. Rich vanilla, oak, cinnamon, and black pepper taste. Spicy finish.

Tonight's flavor is 1835 Bourbon Single Barrel. I am a fan of 1835 as it's one of the first bourbons I've tasted. This one is a vanilla strong, nutty smash of the tongue, mixed with a hot burn and warm lingering aftertaste. It's not complex and not loaded with much else. I appreciate it for it's simplicity.
