Reviewed June 22, 2026An elegant, Agave Spirit by Nom 1499 in Jalisco (Los Altos Southern) crafted in stainless steel, aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak, before being bottled at 40% abv. It has an aromatic birth with notes of cooked agave, dried fruits, flowers, wood, earth, herbs & spices; while a full & elegant life adds notes of cherry, pineapple, butterscotch & orange blossoms; that led to a balanced death of medium length with a hint of pepper, oak, cocoa, cinnamon, coffee & tobacco. -

Reviewed September 22, 2024Tastes of caramel, wood, pear, agave and vanilla. Aroma is astringent and citrus. This is an easy drinker and soft on the palate. There are no weird off flavors. The flavor doesn’t not linger. For the price this is really good and would make a good every day sipper. -

Reviewed May 4, 2023For a $30ish anejo, haven't found anything better. I use this for anejo old fashioneds and it works perfectly. I mainly stick to the Extra As for sipping as this is a touch harsh on the finish, but again great for an Old Fashioned.32.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 6, 2022Aromas were nice. Vanilla. Sweet agave. Citrus notes. Grapefruit first came to mind. Flavor fell off a bit. Alcohol is very evident throughout. Big burn on the finish. Beneath that tho, the vanilla and sweetness are still living. Some plastic aftertaste.
