Reviewed April 30, 2022Tequila 818 anejo follows suit with its reposado counterpart. Its overly focused on the vanillas and sweet components. On the nose we recognize hints of oak, spices, clove, incense, and honey. The palate demonstrates oak, clove, vanilla, and honey. It leaves a very buttery texture on the palate while delivering a lingering oaky finish. I scored this average because for an anejo tequila it does not accentuate the complexities of the barrel and the agave.70.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed March 1, 2022Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Definitely darker and more warm amber than the Reposado, deep sunset limited 😉, legs dissipate; 👃: Sweet, mature notes of the cooked agave, a little oaky and even smoky, sugary, pecan pie!; 👅: Beautiful!, Schwing!, Sweetness of pears and plums, nothing but sweet, no hint of smoke I sensed earlier; 🏁: Beautiful finish, can't say enough about this, like you licked a sugar cube, this is the best tequila I've ever tasted (thus far!)64.99 USD per BottleBevMo! -

Reviewed January 6, 2022 (edited March 1, 2022)Wow. I have never been a tequila sipper, but this is incredible. I’m typically a bourbon drinker, but this is super approachable. It’s very sweet with a tinge of spice. Delicious.
