818 Tequila Blanco

A complex Agave Spirit by NOM 1607. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & complex life added notes of caramel, grapefruit, melon, grass, lemon peel, & pear, that led to an herbal death of medium length with notes of oak, pepper, almonds, clove & coriander.

Solid medium price tequila. Nice agave flavor. I see this more as a mixing tequila then a straight drinker.

An elegant, Agave Spirit by NOM 1137. It has an aromatic birth with notes of agave, citrus, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of cooked agave, green bell pepper & lime; that led to a slightly creamy & spicy death of medium length with notes of black pepper, sea spray & metal. April 2016 / April 2017 / February 2019 / December 2021 / May 2022

I get fake vanilla & sharpie on the nose. The taste isn't much better, in my opinion.
