RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Rye is quite evident in the nose, with notes of baked scones, oak, brown sugar and cereal grains. On the palate, sweet vanilla notes are interspersed with big cinnamon flavors. Underneath it all, rich oak, toasted almond and orange peel are detectable along with fresh spearmint and cocoa nib. The finish is short but satisfying with orange blossoms, tea spices and clove making appearances against a background of oak and cinnamon. "
