Milk & tea, orange dreamsicle, caramel milk chocolate & raisins flood the palate up front. Some banana cream with a salty hit of tobacco on the mid palate. Rounds out to a silky smooth finish with milk chocolate & barrel spices while that tobacco remains. Rich and creamy dram. Delicious.

I just met the older sister of the the 16, and she stole my heart. More mature, better developed, more interesting, more worldly and polished than the 16.
All the notes of the 12 and 16 are there, sweet and fruity with apples, oranges, raisins, chocolate, vanilla and caramel, just intensified, plus a little added spice. Medium length warming finish extends a little longer.
I would not say that I am pleased, he is simply stately and all the basic tastes from the 12-year-old version were perfected and the dirty boots were removed. does not captivate, but it is simply impossible to call it not excellent
