Amrut Peated Indian Single Malt

Evokes: savoring a steaming plate of dal, rich with coriander and chilies. Burns on the lips but soft on the palate. Mild peat, with herbal and honey notes. An interesting young dram.

Honey and sweetness with the smoke, but not syrupy. Has a fairly strong burn, while also being mellow. Enjoyed it, but prob would not pick up a bottle.

Nose: Bacon, peat, caramel Palate: BBQ meats, salt, tart fruit, baked orchard fruit, gristy Finish: Short finish. Tannic, black tea, baked fruit, wisps of peat This is not a good whisky.
