Looneyhead
Reviewed November 27, 2021Nose of mesquite smoke, oak, grape jelly, barbecue sauce, maple syrup, cinnamon, sour cherry and cranberry, plum, vanilla and brown sugar. Smoky sweet taste; wood, vanilla, char, mesquite smoke, cherry, syrup and caramel. Unique and interesting, but in small doses; it’s a bit too sweet and jammy.52.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 7, 2021Very Nice, first nose was powerful smoke - reminded me of a slow burning smoker with a brisket on it, with time it faded into the background and lighter floral and honeyed notes came out, very interesting, can't say I've had anything like it -

Reviewed May 14, 2021 (edited January 13, 2022)Nose is deep and dark and makes me think of something like vanilla extract or liquid smoke. The taste is Kapow! Smoke and thick dark rich alcohol. The malt was smoked with Texas oak, mesquite, and apple wood. So yeah, BBQ will likely cross most texan’s mind when they taste this. Definitely has the sweetness of single malt but zero ferment funk. If you like smoke but not bandaids, rubber, and cosmoline then this may be a good Islay substitute. 50% ABV $50
