Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels

It’s gotta be that port barrel finish. So choice.

Sneaky little bugga. Taste is almost nonexistent at first. I find myself letting the bourbon overstay its welcome in my mouth while i try to attribute meaning to the nothingness. This leave me getting wrecked by a steady fruity taste that quickly accelerates to spice and burn. Wouldnt mind it on a cold day. It doesnt stick out to me which makes it stick out. Not sure how to feel, maybe thats the beauty.

Spicy! Strong notes of port on the nose that carries to the body. Lighty smokey,with red cherries.
