Angel's Envy Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels (2023 Edition)

Oak, green apple, black pepper. I say bitter but not in a bad way. Medicinal astringency at the end, which is delicious and warm. The port casks add lovely herbal depth. My 3rd AECS year, 2nd favorite. 2021 is proving hard to beat.

My first taste of AE Cask Strength and i really like it. High proof for AE but not in general. Smells of spice. Finishes very smooth to me.
