Heavy heavy maple, which is nice! The youth of a 4-year whiskey is also present in the burn in the finish. It’s so weird to go from unbelievably sweet on the palate to intense burn on the finish. Definitely better on ice. Slightly above average overall.
This is not a typical rye, it’s more of a dessert drink. Wonderful maple on the nose, finishes with a strong crème brûlée flavor. One of my absolute favorites.

Nose: Rum and raisin bread
Palate: cinnamon, rye spice,
Finish: sweetness of rum, cinnamon and baking spices
*return nose: vanilla and straight maple syrup
This is gorgeous!! On the sweet side ... nose of crema Catalan with catalepsy, vanilla and caramalized orange zest. Taste has more spice with cinnamon and maybe Christmas baking spices. Burned banana. And offcourse caramel and subtle orange zest. Sweet and beautiful
