This is not what I'd call a true rye, but something totally unique. It is by far the "sweetest" whiskey I've ever had, minus the flavored liqueurs masking as whiskey that are so popular these days. Fantastic notes of sweet baking spices (particularly cinnamon), toasted nuts and sugar cane make for a great dessert pairing whiskey. Very polarizing in my opinion, one you either love or hate. Count me in love.
