Sweet caramel and dark fruit on the nose. Tastes like butterscotch candy and rum. Its amazing, especially with a good cigar like the perdomo 10th anniversary maduro.
Color: Golden Amber
Nose: Molasses | Brown Sugar | Nutmeg | Breakfast Cereal
One of the most distinct and favorable noses I can remember. I feel like you could pour it on pancakes or vanilla ice cream. Very mild ethanol.
Palate: Medium-heavy mouthfeel. Very sweet up front with a similar profile as the nose with molasses and maple syrup coming through. I notice a mild spiciness I have come to associate with rye whiskeys but the palate is overall dominated by the rum notes.
Finish: Sweetness and brown sugar persists despite a backing of ethanol. Very pleasant and lingering.
