Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks

Had a sample, will be adding to my stock. Wish I had better tasting notes but my wife took it as her own and that’s a good sign.

So different and interesting. Not a subtle beast at all. Heavy nose of egg nog for a while. Later opened to clear notes of maple syrup over Belgian waffles. Evolved quite a bit over time and was a truly unique experience.

Unlike anything I’ve ever had. Overwhelming sweetness reminiscent of breakfast foods. I get incredible amounts of vanilla on some batches and more syrupy sweet on others. One that’s a nice change of pace occasionally.
