Reviewed September 1, 2023On the nose: funk, grassy, spicy like cardamom and nutmeg, brown sugar. Taste: same funk, alcohol, vegetal, balanced. This is quintessential Jamaican and I expect it will calm down a little now that the bottle is opened.150.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed April 28, 2023Nose is quite sweet, spicy and has a definite smell of sugar cane. There's a bit of wood, like old bookshelves. Palate is surprisingly dry and less sugary than expected but full of flavours with a strong attack. I'm not an expert, but I'll say the taste reminds me of leather and grass fields. It is a bit spicy, like a chilli. Aftertaste is full of raw sugar cane, that slowly develops its charm and the duration is exceptional! All in all, an excellent rum for those who might prefer whiskeys to sweet regular grocery-store bought Diplomatico or Zacapa.129.0 CHF per Bottle
