The Arcane is an agricole-style rhum (though they use the more recognizable "rum" spelling) from Mauritius, made with fresh cane juice. Cane Crush undergoes a double distillation - first in Mauritius in traditional pot-stills to process the cane juice while it's fresh, then it's transported to Cognac for distillation in small alembic stills.
From there it's bottled unaged. .

"This is a fresh and zesty rum that's all about the herbal and citrus peel nuances. Rosemary, sage, basil and a hint of wormwood flow elegantly into orange, grapefruit and lime zest. Raw sugar and tropical fruit sweetness tie these flavors together. While finishing slightly hot, this is an ideal daiquiri-and-shaken-cocktail-rum that will hold its own against other ingredients. "
