Ardbeg 10 Year

Smells like a seaside bond-fire. Underneath the charred kelp, there are notes of lemon Pledge. The palate is surprisingly sweet. It's not overly complex, but I find it reminiscent of pork tenderloin. There are hints of lime in the taste, but it really comes through on the finish. The finish is long with the taste of semi-dark chocolate lingering for a few minutes.

Obviously delicious. But it's finish isn't complex and lingering enough, there's notes of rubber, and it's overpriced. The fact that it's still this good is a miracle.
