Nose is similar to any ardbeg of smoke, peat, and campfire. Fills the area with the best smell in the world. Once you move past that, there’s distinct tropical fruits.
Palate is more subdued than other ardbegs, the same peat, fruit, and some sherry comes through, but it’s so much more balanced. Paprika, chocolate, peat, smoke, excellence. More time in the barrel only helps here. The finish is classic ardbeg, but more controlled and mature.
Wow, wow, wow.
