Aultmore 12 Year

For a non-sherried Speyside, I was completely caught off guard at the depth of flavor with this. Don't let the weak straw colour fool you; this can go in your rotation for sure.

A nice whisky that is moderately complex though fragile. The nose and palate have hints of freshly cut grass, pears, honey and vanilla. The finish, though sadly short, is smooth with just the right touch of sugar. It was ok.
